Exam Day Schedule – Sessions and Timings

Plan your travel to the centre accordingly, especially if you are appearing from a district centre outside Guwahati.

What to Check on Your Admit Card

Do not assume your admit card is correct simply because it downloaded. Verify every field as soon as you download it. Errors on the admit card — if caught early — can be corrected before the exam date.

  • ✅ Full Name (as per official documents)
  • ✅ Father’s Name
  • ✅ Date of Birth
  • ✅ Roll Number
  • ✅ Registration / Application ID
  • ✅ Photograph (should be clear and recognisable)
  • ✅ Signature (should be visible)
  • ✅ Category (General / OBC / SC / ST etc.)
  • ✅ Exam Centre Name and Address
  • ✅ Exam Date and Session Timings
  • ✅ Subject / Paper details

If any detail is incorrect, contact APSC immediately through the official helpline or email — do not wait until exam day.

What to Carry to the Exam Hall on 5th July 2026

Entry to the examination hall without the required documents will not be permitted under any circumstances. Carry the following on exam day:

  • 🔴 Printed APSC CCE 2026 Admit Card — mandatory. Digital copy on phone is not accepted.
  • 🔴 One original, valid photo ID — any of the following: Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, Driving Licence. The name must match your admit card.
  • 🔴 Blue or black ballpoint pen — for filling OMR sheet details. Do not use gel pens.
  • 🔴 Passport-size photograph — some centres may ask for this. Carry 2 copies as a precaution.

Do not carry: Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, earphones, or any electronic item into the examination hall. These are strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.

Name or Detail Error on Admit Card – What to Do

If you notice a discrepancy — a spelling error in your name, wrong date of birth, or incorrect category — follow these steps immediately:

  1. Do not wait. Contact APSC as soon as you notice the error.
  2. Email apsc-asm@nic.in with the subject line: Admit Card Error – APSC CCE 2026 Prelims – [Your Roll Number].
  3. Attach a scanned copy of your admit card and the relevant supporting document that shows the correct information (Aadhaar, Marksheet, etc.).
  4. Also call the APSC helpline: +91-361-2368207 during office hours to flag the issue.
  5. If the error is not corrected in time, carry the original ID document that shows the correct information to the exam hall, along with a written explanation.

⚠️ APSC office contact details and helpline are available on the official APSC website (apsc.nic.in).

Using the Remaining 30 Days – Preparation Priorities

With the admit card releasing on 15th June and the exam on 5th July, you have exactly 20 days from admit card release to exam day. This is the final sprint. Here is how to structure it:

Days 1–10 (15th June – 25th June): Subject revision. Complete one full revision of NCERT History (Class 10, 12), Geography (Class 11), Polity quick notes from Laxmikanth, and Environment from Shankar IAS. Do not add any new material.

Days 11–17 (26th June – 2nd July): Mock tests every day. Solve one full APSC Prelims mock paper daily under strict exam conditions — 10 AM to 12 PM for Paper I, 2 PM to 4 PM for Paper II, mirroring the actual exam schedule. Analyse every wrong answer the same evening.

Days 18–20 (3rd July – 4th July): Light revision only. Do not attempt new mocks. Review your error log, revise weak areas, confirm your exam centre location and travel route. Sleep by 10 PM on 4th July.

For the complete subject-wise strategy and what to prioritise in the final month, read the APSC CCE Prelims Strategy 2026 – Complete Subject-wise Preparation Guide. Frequently Asked Questions – APSC CCE 2026 Admit Card

Q1. When will the APSC CCE 2026 Admit Card be released?
The APSC CCE 2026 Prelims Admit Card is expected to be released on 15th June 2026 on the official website apsc.nic.in. The eligible candidates list was released on 8th June 2026, which confirms the timeline is on track. We will update this article the moment the admit card link goes live.

Q2. What is the direct link to download the APSC CCE 2026 Admit Card?
The admit card will be available directly at apsc.nic.in. Look for the “Call Letters / Admit Cards” section on the homepage once it is released. There is no separate third-party portal — download only from the official APSC website.

Q3. I forgot my Application ID. How do I download the admit card?
Check your registered email inbox for the application confirmation email you received at the time of applying. The Application ID is mentioned in that email. If you are unable to retrieve it, contact APSC on +91-361-2368207 or email apsc-asm@nic.in with your registered name and date of birth.

Q4. Is a digital/soft copy of the admit card accepted at the exam centre?
No. A printed hard copy of the admit card is mandatory. The invigilator will physically check and stamp your admit card. Digital copies are not accepted. Print at least two copies in advance.

Q5. What if my name is misspelled on the admit card?
Contact APSC immediately via email at apsc-asm@nic.in and call the helpline. Carry your supporting original ID (Aadhaar, marksheet) to the exam hall that shows the correct spelling. Do not wait until exam day to raise this issue.

Q6. Can I appear for only one paper and skip the other on exam day?
No. Both Paper I (General Studies) and Paper II (CSAT) are compulsory. Paper II has a minimum qualifying mark of 33% — candidates who skip it are automatically disqualified. Both sessions must be attended.

Q7. How many candidates are appearing for APSC CCE 2026 Prelims?
APSC has not released the exact number of applications received. Based on previous APSC CCE cycles, the expected number of candidates appearing is between 40,000 and 60,000 for 78 vacancies. Approximately 850–950 candidates will be shortlisted for Mains — making the Prelims cutoff highly competitive.

Conclusion

The APSC CCE 2026 Admit Card releasing on 15th June 2026 is the last official milestone before the examination on 5th July. Download it as soon as it is available, verify every detail, print your copies, and confirm your exam centre in advance. Administrative preparation on exam day is as important as academic preparation in the months before it.
