Massive Infrastructure Push

  • Over ₹21,000 crore invested in the education sector in 10 years.
  • Key projects:
    • Sela Tunnel (Arunachal Pradesh) and Bhupen Hazarika Bridge (Assam)
    • 11,000 km of new highways
    • Doubling of airport numbers
    • Expansion of railway lines
    • Development of waterways on Brahmaputra and Barak
    • 1,600-km Northeast Gas Grid

Peace, Security, and Governance

  • Zero-tolerance policy against terrorism and insurgency
  • Past decade saw 10,000+ youth abandon arms and return to mainstream

    • 800+ new schools
    • Region’s first AIIMS
