- Aimed at accelerating infrastructure growth under Mission Basundhara 3.0.
Land Allotment to Institutions:
- Land allotted to 1,977 non-government educational, religious, and sociocultural institutions.
- Spread across 12 districts of Assam.
- Focused on supporting civil society and community-led initiatives.
Amendments to Autonomous Council Laws
- Approved Moran Autonomous Council (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025.
- Amended the Moran Autonomous Council Act, 2020 and Matak Autonomous Council Act, 2020.
- Objective: Ensure equitable development of the Moran and Matak communities.
Key Provisions of the Amendment:
- Moran Council areas to include only the population of the Moran community, as notified by the State government.
- Rights of other communities in the area will not be affected.
- General Council of each council to have 30 elected members.
- Out of 30 seats, 5 to be reserved for women of the respective communities.
