Ministry: This initiative was launched by the Ministry of Defence in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism.
Aims:
- Promote battlefield and border tourism.
- Foster awareness of India’s military history and valor.
- Support socio-economic growth in border areas.
Key Locations Covered:
- Galwan Valley (Ladakh): Known for the 2020 India-China clash.
- Doklam: The tri-junction of India, Bhutan, and China.
- Line of Control (LoC) and Line of Actual Control (LAC): Includes Nathu La Pass, Longewala, and notable locations from the 1962 and 1971 wars.
